Complete technical services and process solutions delivered by Team DWC — from concept studies through detailed design and on-site support.
Technical Services
Engaged well beyond the handover
Once the design package has been handed over for detailed engineering and construction, the DWC engineering team remains closely engaged — working alongside client teams, contractors and operations personnel so the original process intent carries through construction and into daily operation.
Many of these activities follow recognized industry practice, such as the HAZOP methodology developed by the Center for Chemical Process Safety, so safety and operability reviews meet current process safety standards.
A short site visit for one milestone, or on-call support through the first year of operation.
The same engineers who supported the original process design.
A safe, efficient and timely start-up — and reliable operation after it.
What our technical services include

- Review of detailed engineering deliverables
- HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies
- Field inspections to verify compliance with licensor requirements
- Operator training programs
Start-up & beyond3
- Plant start-up support and troubleshooting assistance
- Support during performance guarantee test runs
- Process optimization and improvement studies
Scoped to one milestone — or the whole first year
In every case, the same engineers who supported the original process design remain your point of contact, so lessons learned during detailed engineering are not lost at the handover to operations.
Milestone visit
A short site visit for a specific milestone, such as a HAZOP workshop or the start-up window.
Extended on-call support
An on-call arrangement that follows the plant through its first year of operation.
Commissioning & after
Support through cold and hot commissioning and punch-list closure, and remote troubleshooting after the site team has left.
Questions clients ask
When does DWC’s technical support start?

Do you run HAZOP studies?
Yes. HAZOP studies follow recognized industry practice, such as the methodology developed by the Center for Chemical Process Safety.
Can you support commissioning and start-up?
Yes — cold and hot commissioning, punch-list closure, start-up support and troubleshooting, performance guarantee test runs, and remote troubleshooting afterwards.
How long can support last?
From a single milestone visit to an extended on-call arrangement through the plant’s first year of operation.
