Solutions

Refinery process solutions, proven in operating units.

Optimization capability plus four application technologies, already commissioned in refineries and petrochemical complexes.

Our refinery process solutions begin with finding where the money is hiding in an existing unit, then applying packages already commissioned in operating refineries — each one reusing columns that are already installed rather than adding new ones.

01

Refinery Process Optimization

Capacity, margins, energy and integration, assessed across your distillation sequence. We find the constraint, then size what removing it is worth.

  • Capacity: over 40% more from a DWC Prime revamp than from high-capacity internals alone
  • Margins: isolating higher-value streams such as isopentane and food grade hexane
  • Energy: heat-pump-assisted and multi-effect distillation

20–50% CAPEX and OPEX saved across distillation sequences

02

Food & Polymer Grade Hexane

Turn a three-cut deisohexanizer into a four-product separation, pulling saleable hexane grades out of an isomerization unit that was only making octane.

  • Up to 25% more octane barrels, 8–15% more feed processed
  • Up to 50% lower energy than alternative C6 routes
  • No new columns, no additional plot space

2–10 months typical payback on a revamp

CS2 Removal from Petrochemical Naphtha

Carbon disulphide limits feedstock flexibility, corrodes cracker units and poisons hydrogenation catalyst. DWC Prime retrofits into an existing naphtha splitter and takes it out.

  • On-spec PCN produced directly, with reduced hydrotreater load
  • 90% iC5 premium gasoline as a second revenue stream
  • 20–50% CAPEX and OPEX reduction

Below 1–2 ppm CS2 in the product

CS2 removal →

04

Ben Prime — Benzene Saturation

When geography or economics rule out processing the benzene-rich stream where it is produced, Ben Prime hydrogenates it instead — in a compact liquid-phase reactor.

  • Meets gasoline benzene limits without a new C5-C6 isomerization unit
  • Over 30% more throughput from a revamped reformate splitter
  • Highly selective catalyst, so octane is barely touched

99.9% benzene saturation achievable

Octane Booster — Light Naphtha Isomerization

Isomerate octane is set by separation, not by the reactor. A DWC Prime retrofit inside the existing DIH shell gives that one column the extra duty.

  • 2 to 6 RON gained, reaching as high as RON 93
  • Four cuts from one existing DIH column, over 20% more unit capacity
  • No new column, no new foundations or plot space

2–12 months typical simple payback

How we deliver refinery process solutions

The technology underneath

Most of these solutions are built on our licensed dividing wall column technology and proprietary internals.

The engineering around it
