DWCI awarded project for a network of dividing wall columns in an Indian chemical complex

DWC Innovations / 20 August, 2026 / Awards Press Release

Four DWC Prime™ columns will replace a conventional sequence of eight distillation columns at a leading Indian acetone-derivatives complex.

DWC Innovations has been awarded a project by a leading Indian chemical complex to enhance the distillation scheme used in the production of acetone derivatives through the application of its proprietary DWC Prime™ technology.

As part of the project, four DWC Prime columns will replace a conventional sequence of eight distillation columns, significantly simplifying the separation process while improving operational efficiency. The chemical plant is scheduled for commissioning in November 2023.
